a good denim dress is about as versatile as your favorite pair of jeans or chambray button-down –you can dress it up or down. so when an afternoon at the races called for a cool and comfortable outfit this past weekend, i grabbed for my trusty new dress and styled it for a casual day look. paired with my leather gladiator sandals, fedora, and crossbody bag (a christmas present two years ago that has proven to come in handy time and time again), i was not only comfortable in the heat, i still felt pretty summertime chic.
