today i’m excited to feature two of my favorite things: my newest ruffled sweater from banana republic and my dear friend, carylee, whom you might remember from one of my first collaborations last fall. carylee and i have teamed up again to showcase two ways to style a striped sweater -specifically as we transition to warmer weather. aside from the cropped fit and thick cotton fabric, what makes this sweater so unique is the ruffle detailing around the shoulders. so for a girl that loves ruffles, it was a no brainer adding it to my closet.

while i love the bold navy and red combination of carylee’s sweater, i opted for the grey and white stripe to compliment my current neutral wardrobe. i paired it with white denim shorts and accented with nude and black accessories for a fresh springtime look.
