how to style a panama hat (part three)

happy weekend! i hope you’re soaking up every minute of your free time!

we’ve come to the third and final look from this week’s three-part styling series featuring my favorite spring/summer hat (here’s a look back at looks one & two). to me, today’s look screams “date night on the patio,” don’t you think? well, the fact that i’m holding a glass of my favorite wine might also have something to do with that…

anyway, this last look is a bit unexpected. with its watercolor floral print pattern and silk fabric, this jumpsuit is dressy enough to wear to a more formal event (in fact, i wore it to a wedding last september), but its muted palette and drawstring waistband make it casual enough to be dressed down for an al fresco afternoon bbq.

so the final way i love to style my panama hat is…

with a silk jumpsuit & leather sandals

Very nice. The jumpsuit looks great on you. Your hair is perfect… the hat just adds to the casual and relaxed look.

Thanks so much. I’m hoping I get a lot of use out of the jumpsuit this summer!
