if you haven’t seen this video yet, stop what you’re doing and go watch it. wow, apparently i’m bossy before coffee (truth). but really, the #instagramhusband concept is real and though he’s not yet my husband, S knows all too well the responsibilities assumed when you date a fashion blogger. case in point -this photo was taken in the midst of our sunday errands outside of a –wait for it –sprouts grocery store. you know, i used to get self-conscious taking photos in public but i’ve just come to embrace it. because when you see a neat wall that would look good on your feed, you hand your phone to your adoring other half, assume the position, and without another word, he knows just what to do.

with temperatures into the 80’s last weekend, it was the perfect opportunity to take my gingham two-piece for a sophomoric spin. i accented the bright azure and white color scheme with pops of camel and finished off the look with my favorite asymmetrical fedora.
