i’ve been wearing this skirt non-stop since picking it up at madewell a few weeks ago. i’ve paired it with black and white (the obvious choices) but recently wore it with grey and blush as well. i love how versatile it is with its black and white print and how effortlessly it can be transitioned from workweek to weekend.

and that’s exactly what i did before heading out to our tasting last week -transitioned my work outfit to a more casual ensemble with one quick change of the top. i exchanged a black ruffled blouse for a sleeveless chambray button-down and with that single swap, i felt a little more laid back and ready to taste some delicious wedding food! as i mentioned last week, i love adding pieces to my wardrobe that i know will become closet staples and this skirt has fast become that for me. i love that it’s dressy enough for the office but worked perfectly for a casual feminine look at our tasting. speaking of tasting, i can’t wait to share more details about our decadent afternoon later in the week! stay tuned.

I love this look… one of my favorites. You pull it off effortlessly.

Thank you so much! I loved the simplicity of it but it also felt really pulled together. Sometimes less really is more! xo

Love how you styled this skirt! As you know, I also have it but it’s definitely a new silhouette for me to work with—I am still so new to the midi world!! Love getting styling inspiration from you on this one 😉 So cute!

Thanks so much, girl! I seriously wear this skirt once (sometimes twice) a week! For someone who is on the tall(ish) side, midis guarantee I don’t have a wardrobe malfunction 😉 I’m so glad you’re jumping on board the midi train. I loved how you styled it for your #legitmomstyle series recently with the grey tank, I totally did the same thing the other day at work. Helps when your stylish friends have the same clothes as you -mutual style inspiration! xo

I’ve been looking for skirts that go sat the knee but don’t look frumpy– love this one!
