it’s the greatest week of the year! truth be told, the days leading up to thanksgiving are some of my favorite of the entire year. i am always giddy with anticipation to celebrate my absolute favorite holiday. the food, the time with family, the football, the SALES! ah, i can’t wait. since i feel like thanksgiving kind of snuck up on us this year, you may not have had time to plan out your holiday outfit (i know i haven’t). fear not, i’ve rounded up a few outfit ideas to help you put together a look that’ll be perfect for an afternoon spent snacking on turkey and strategizing black friday sales. enjoy!

sweater + jeans || there’s nothing cozier than a sweater and jeans -especially this time of year. this look is effortless yet still feels pulled together. add a little personality with a unique necklace and a fun pair of shoes. want to kick-it up a notch (no pun intended)? swap out these suede booties for a pointy-toe flat in glitter or leopard and finish off the look with a bold lipwant more of this look? see the original post here.

little [insert color of choice here] dress + denim jacket (see full post here) || if your holiday dinner has a fancier feel, you can never go wrong by throwing on your favorite little black/red/green/white/pink dress. if the weather is more frightful than delightful, you can always wear tights and a classic black pump to ensure you stay warm. otherwise, show off those gorgeous gams and cut the chill with a dark wash denim jacket. finish off the look with metallic accessories like a jeweled statement necklace or a simple gold pendantwant more of this look? see the original post here.

midi skirt + booties (see full post here) || given the two above ensembles, i’d say this third option is somewhere in between in terms of fanciness. what i love about midi skirts (if you haven’t already realized) in particular are the fact that they offer a sweet feminine vibe while also being extremely comfortable. they’re perfect for pairing with a fitted sweater or a flowy silk blouse. you can dress them up or down and accessorize them a zillion different ways. i like pairing mine with my leather booties and a simple slouchy sweater for an almost bohemian vibe but it would also look super chic with a chambray knotted at the waist and metallic lace-up flats. i’ll probably end up wearing something similar on thursday myself. want more of this look? see the original post here.

Each of those photos is lovely. You look so put together in the clothes you pair. You look fabulous every day. (BTW, I really like that Willow and Paige sweater you posted.)

You’re way too kind. Thank you, thank you. I still haven’t decided what I’m wearing for our own celebrations -perhaps a combination of two of these looks? Happy early Turkey Day! xoxo
