not the abercrombie & fitch you remember

fun fact: i worked at abercrombie & fitch kids for approximately two weeks in high school. i think i may actually still have an outstanding paycheck that i never retrieved. anyway, like most teens that grew up in the late 90’s, my entire wardrobe was adorned with that little embroidered moose. and while my 16-year-old self was a big fan of popped polos and barely there button-front denim skirts, present-day me wouldn’t be caught dead in that store (if only for the fact that they play the music at a decibel that could bust an eardrum).

that is until now.

somewhere over the past 15 (gulp) years, the abercrombie of my youth got a pretty dramatic makeover. and y’all, i would totally shop there again. their latest spring collection is giving me all of the madewell vibes with its soft color palette and feminine details. i mean, don’t these cropped jeans look very familiar? at any rate, i was pleasantly surprised at their fresh look, so much so, i’ve rounded up my favorite current styles -all of which are on sale through tomorrow for the president’s day holiday (use code 20318 to get 25% off your entire purchase!). after being on the hunt for some viable overalls to flatter this long-torso, i think i may just snag these while they’re discounted. how cute would they look with this off-the-shoulder blouse and some lace-up flats?

Now, how cute do you look in front of that wall? Where do you find such great backdrops? Anyway, I love the cross-body bag, the jumpsuit, and the boyfriend sweater. It’s great that you find upcoming fashions and share with the rest of us. Love you both lots.

I’m always on the lookout for a good statement wall. This one is in a random strip mall on the 101!
