while i love my skirts and dresses, once the temperatures heat up, i am a sucker for a good pair of shorts to keep me cool in the warmer months. most weekends you can find me in either my blue or white denim shorts, but with so many unique (and affordable!) styles available right now, i’ve been itching to add a few more versatile pairs to my wardrobe. i’m particularly smitten with the elastic waist pull-on and go styles like this one and this one. i actually just ordered these in a pretty copper color and can’t wait to style them with a sleeveless chambray or a simple black tank (hopefully avoiding looking like halloween). at any rate, in a sea of sundresses, shorts can be the real MVP’s of your spring/summer wardrobe. dress them up with a pair of wedges or throw them over your bathing suit before hitting the beach. below are my favorite styles of the season:
