though many of my favorite brands have brick and mortar stores just a few miles from my house, i do a majority of my shopping online. you just can’t beat the convenience of it.

while most days you can find me scouring the new arrivals section of j.crew and madewell.com (naturally), i love discovering new online boutiques -especially on good ol’ instagram.

recently, i came across shea & ruby, an online clothing boutique based in canada which seemed like kismet given our recent honeymoon locale. aside from the array of unique inventory (and new-to-me brands!), what i love most about the boutique are the curated collections. with categories like “minimalism fashion” and “calling all jetsetters,” a shopper is able to hone their browsing, ensuring they find the perfect piece.

when i spotted the ravenna shirt dress, i knew it would be a perfect to get me through the rest of the season. its maxi length, sleeveless silhouette, and the subtle blue and white striped pattern make it versatile to be dressed up or down for both work and play. its light-weight fabric will be ideal for staying cool in the summer heat, especially when paired with a perforated sandal (as i’m wearing in these photos). the button-down detail can be adjusted to create a sultry slit up the front, or can be left un-buttoned and worn over a white tank and cut-offs as a bohemian duster (great for the late summer music festivals!). it would also be cute worn with a denim jacket and suede booties as we transition into fall.

besides this dress, i also loved this striped mini, this lace sweater, this bow tank, and these wide-leg pants (of course).

lucky for you, shea & ruby is offering my readers a 30% off discount when you use the promo code “SHAWNA” at checkout and everyone enjoys free shipping to north america on orders over $175 (CAD).

Nice post… darling dress… great location.
Your newest item seems perfect and will look great as a duster, too.
I think the lace sweater is charming.
