this friday, i’m in love with…

j.crew lace pants || with the holidays right around the corner, i’m starting to plan my outfits for some of the festive activities. while i have some great pieces i’ll be happy to pull out of the closet again, it’s always fun to get something new. i remembered these lace pull-on pants from the summer and was happy to know j.crew brought them back again this season in both cherry red and black. i think i’m going to order them in black as they would be perfect paired with a simple black sweater and a bright lip, a chambray button-down and a black mule, or the lace top from this post and a tassel earring. plenty of possibilities for holiday-inspired ensembles.

hearth & hand || like the rest of america, i was extremely excited for the launch of hearth & hand, chip and joanna gaines’ highly anticipated partnership with target stores. as expected, the line is exquisitely curated and charming and i could easily make a case for nabbing one of everything to decorate our home. lucky for my husband, i have yet to order anything, but in looking through the collection again, i’m definitely loving this vase, this doormat, and this wreath for our front door. here are a few other favorite pieces:

favorite outfits from the week include: julia’s pink outfit, kate’s polka dot pants, sam’s coffee-inspired outfit, and all of jess ann’s charleston looks

a sneak peek of what’s coming next week:

a lesson in layering

sharing my favorite pieces from the top holiday trends: velvet, bows, sequins & plaid

fitting room fables at old navy!

three things i’m looking forward to this weekend:

making fall vegetable curry

an almond milk latte from peets (i literally crave them!)

watching football on sunday and relaxing with my husband!

and in case you missed it, here’s what appeared on the blog this week:

what to wear to disneyland

best beanies for staying warm

quilted puffer vest

coats to keep you warm all season long

we all have those weeks when we constantly feel like we need to hit the “reset” button, right? this past week was one of those for me. oof. so boy am i ever happy to finally see friday! and after last weekend’s full list of activities, i’m very much looking forward to a slower pace these next two days. now that the weather has cooled down, all i want to do is snuggle up on the couch with some snacks and a full dvr.

see you next week!

xoxo
