hello and happy thanksgiving! i hope that while you’re reading this, you’re still in your pajamas, with football in the background, sipping something festive, and perhaps getting a jumpstart on tomorrow’s black friday sales. S and i are currently en route to la quinta resort to spend two blissful days in the desert relaxing and soaking up the sunshine with my parents. i shared my packing list earlier in the week, but today i wanted to give you a quick glimpse at what i’ll be wearing for tonight’s dinner which we’ll enjoy at morgan’s, one of the on-site restaurants at the resort.

given the fact that the temperatures will be quite a bit warmer in the desert than at home, i plan on dressing a little differently for this year’s festivities than i have in years past. i’m looking at it as the perfect opportunity to get extra wear out of one of my favorite summer dresses (last worn here). here’s how i plan on styling it:
