styling a mustard sweater for fall

0 Permalink 6

to further showcase its versatility, yesterday i took to my instagram stories for a mini styling session with my madewell mustard balloon-sleeve sweater. while you already saw it in tuesday’s post, i wanted to showcase a few more ways you can style it for the season in case you want to snag one for yourself! at under $90, it’s a great staple to add to your arsenal especially as we start to really experience cooler weather (and if mustard isn’t your thing, it also comes in ivory, black, and red!). below are four outfits i created using pre-existing items in my wardrobe:

madewell sweater (small) || everlane wide-leg crop pant (2)*

frye boots (9.5) || natalie borton hoops (c/o)

*style tip: get extra wear out of your cropped pants in the fall/winter by layering a mid-calf boot underneath. your ankles will be nice and toasty and you’ll be able to restyle your favorite pants/jeans in cooler weather!

madewell sweater (small) || madewell skirt (similar)

jenni kayne hat (similar) || everlane boss boot (10 -size up 1/2 size)

natalie borton earrings (c/o)

madewell sweater (small) || madewell denim (similar)

joie boots (9.5) || madewell bandana

natalie borton earrings (c/o)

madewell sweater (small) || madewell denim (similar)

steve madden ‘intyce’ boots (9.5) || j.crew hat (similar)

j.crew factory denim jacket (small)

i’ve also linked all of the outfits in the liketoknow.it app and saved the styling session under my “outfits” highlight in my instagram profile.
