like trader joes and dillon, texas, my love for flannel is deeply-rooted. just like my love for guys who wear it (oh hey, S). but finding a flattering flannel (holy alliteration) that makes you appear more feminine and less like you should be chopping wood is not an easy fete. until you just happen to peruse gap’s latest batch of fall arrivals and BAM, the perfect plaid flannel all but leaps off the page and into your virtual shopping cart. sometimes, i suppose, it is just that easy.

to transform a look suited for a lumberjack into one better suited for a lumberjill, i added my favorite crystal bib necklace, threw my hair up in a top knot, and went back for another swipe of my new favorite lip color. flirty flannel, ftw.
