i think i got my first pair of converse jack purcells in middle school. the regina georges and gretchen weiners of my day were all sporting them with our school uniforms of pleated skirts and polo shirts so of course i needed a pair to fit in. fast-forward a decade (and some change) and the classic white sneak is just as timeless as ever. normally i would have never thought to pair casual tennies with a dressier skirt, but inspired by beth of seersucker + saddles, i realized dressing down your work wears is a great way to get the most bang for your buck.
