sick of dressing up for the holidays yet? ME NEITHER! and that’s good because don’t look now but christmas is one week from today and new year’s day is the friday after that!
today’s collaboration is particularly special to me for the fact that jen is a treasured friend from high school. she and her sister started the blog linen, lace & love after they both planned their weddings in the SAME year and realized how much they enjoyed the creative aspect to it all. it’s easy to see that jen is absolutely stunning, but more than that, she simply oozes talent. in addition to writing for LLL, she is an assistant stage manager on BROADWAY for the play spring awakening!
though a california girl, jen has adopted a more new york state of mind when it comes to dressing since making her home on the east coast. clearly the fashion cultures (and the weather!) in new york and san diego tend to be quite different, so we wanted to showcase that in our styling. the main piece in all of the looks is a cute polka dot skirt we picked up for a STEAL at j.crew factory over the thanksgiving holiday. with that as our foundation, we each put together a total of four looks -two for christmas and two for new year’s. head on over to linen, lace & love to see more photos of jen’s ensembles!
p.s. how funny is it that the new york gal went tights-free and the san diego chick opted for tights?!
