every season it seems the fashion industry crowns the “must-have” shoe. a few seasons ago the d’orsay flat took center stage (says the girl who has at least five pairs, whoopsies), but this past autumn, it was all about the of the lace-up ballerina shoe. clearly i’m a little tardy for this party seeing as we are well past the time of year where exposed feet are acceptable (meteorologically speaking), but in shoes this cute, i think my piggies won’t mind enduring a little frostbite.
fun fact: from the ages of about three through twelve, i was a ballerina. i actually quit right before toe shoes. so getting to wear these nude-colored lace-up flats makes me feel like i’m miss twinkle toes again.
