it may not be sweater weather quite yet, one place it’s always appropriate for an extra layer is the movie theater! admittedly, i’ve been so excited to wear this ruffled cardi since i snagged it during the nordstrom annivesary sale (sadly it’s no longer available but i’ve linked similar styles below) that i took it along to the movies on sunday afternoon (we saw jason bourne with my parents and fyi matt damon does not age), hoping the theater was chilly enough to wear it. luckily with heat wave we’ve been having, cinepolis had the rooms chilled like a fine white wine. i kept the rest of my outfit pretty casual since comfort is key when you’re sitting for twoplus hours, sticking with a neutral palette since it’s so darn effortless to put together. i have a feeling this won’t be the last time you see this look, especially once fall hits.
