we are officially in countdown mode around these parts (46 days!) and it’s equal parts exciting and terrifying. exciting for the obvious reasons and terrifying in that i don’t really feel stressed so maybe i’m forgetting something?
at any rate, we had our walk through with our venue coordinator this past weekend and while we were going over the details of the day’s events, we also had the pleasure of tasting and eventually selecting the wines that will be served during the cocktail hour and dinner reception. since the venue is first and foremost a winery, we already knew that their wines would be delicious. our job was to narrow down the selections to just four -which we ultimately pared down to two whites and two reds: a citrusy chardonnay, a vincenzo bianco white blend, a classic burgundy, and jammy-flavored merlot.
with just a handful of appointments to cross off the list, these wedding updates will probably be fewer and far between (next up: our floral mock-up which i am ecstatic about!). BUT i can assure you that once the event has taken place, there will be a full recap with a list of vendors and lots of pictures to appease your inquiring minds. as always, thanks for following along with S and me on this journey. we have had such a wonderful time planning the biggest day of our lives! we can’t believe january 21st is almost here and we really just can’t wait to see everything come together.4
