this friday, i’m in love with…

the bachelorette coverage on theringer.com || i know, i know, bachelor/bachelorette recaps are a dime a dozen, but how many of them are written by a witty guy? ringer staff writer, rodger sherman’s recaps of rachel’s journey to love were half the reason i continued to watch this rather lackluster season. in fact, his recap of the finale  just might be my favorite. i literally loled. in the same realm, the ringer’s bachelor(ette) party (name is changed depending on the season) podcast hosted by juliet litman is a great distraction to rush hour traffic.

everlane’s cotton long-sleeve crew || as i mentioned in wednesday’s post, everlane has many new product launches over the next few weeks –one of which just happened yesterday. their cotton sweater collection is currently live on the site, featuring new silhouettes including a mockneck crop, a v-neck crop, and my personal favorite, the long-sleeve crew. i already have the khaki green color idling in my online shopping cart. if you’ve been reading for a while, you know how much wear my two everlane cashmere sweaters get in the fall/winter (i actually wore my grey one on the plane to quebec city), so i’m excited to add a few cotton versions for the upcoming season (plus they’re only $50 a piece!).

officially being mrs. rivera || after going through the whole process of legally changing my name over the course of the last two weeks, all of my new credit cards, social security card, and driver’s license (with a brand new photo!) arrived in the mail this week. i know it’s kind of a small thing, but it’s pretty fun seeing “shawna rivera” stamped across my j.crew credit card (because naturally that’s one of the first cards i updated).

favorite outfits from the week include: julia’s overalls, liz’s summer dress (and that ice cream!), alicia’s restyled gingham dress, kate’s overalls and krystal’s LWD

a sneak peek of what’s coming next week:

the most dainty floral eyelet blouse to transition from summer to fall

my favorite backpacks, totes, crossbody bags, and clutches for fall

(apparently i am trying to make fall happen)

three things i’m looking forward to this weekend:

a double date with my parents at this adorable restaurant

taking my 750th studio barre class!

a manicure/pedicure

and in case you missed it, here’s what appeared on the blog this week:

favorite places & restaurants in quebec city, canada

on my radar for fall

i just wanted to take a moment to say thank you again to anyone who tunes into my musings daily/weekly/when you have a moment to spare. i sincerely appreciate each and every one of you! have a wonderful weekend and i’ll see you next week!

xo
