if there was a color i’ve fallen in love with this year, it would be green -more specifically muted hues like olive and moss (remember this post?). after perusing the most recent collections of some of my favorite stores, it doesn’t look like green is going anywhere as we look toward trends for the upcoming seasons. in fact, there’s still an abundance of the army-color green as well as a richer forest hue.
i for one am very excited that my current color crush is sticking around a little longer since i just snagged this sweater and these pants to style into fall. they’ll go perfectly with my newest natalie borton amelia tassel necklace in a dreamy dark green, accented by a quirky elk antler bead, perfect for sporting with sweaters and flannels this fall. but since we’re not quite there yet, i styled the piece with my tie-shoulder eyelet top (last seen here), a pair of grey skinny jeans, and my hobes leather sneakers for a sportier date night look. i played up the green in the necklace by opting for my felt floppy hat in a similar shade.
