diff eyewear

i know, i was as skeptical as you might be. can a brand hawked by bachelor contestants and reality tv stars really be all it’s cracked up to be?

the answer is: yes!

when S and i stopped by the mall last weekend to make a quick return, i ended up perusing through nordstrom’s sunglasses department on our way out. i’ve been on the hunt for a new pair for a while now (my cute urban outfitters pair recently cracked, womp womp) and i knew nordstrom carried a large selection. to my surprise, along with brands like ray-ban and le spec, the store had a diff eyewear display filled with some really cute styles. i actually made a joke to the salesgirl assisting me that i felt like a bachelor contestant as i tried on my first pair. she looked at me bewildered. turns out she doesn’t watch the show (oh?!).

anyway, i immediately fell in love with the “becky” (oh my gawd becky…) frame with an oversized cateye shape and gold detailing. while the lenses aren’t as dark as i traditionally like, the frame was so complimentary to my face shape that i made the compromise. besides this color combo, the frames also come in black/grey, gold/blue, and rosegold pink (the latter two are polarized).

in addition to bringing their customers quality sunglasses at a reasonable price point, diff eyewear is also focused on making a difference in the wold. similar to the toms shoes model, when someone purchases a pair of diff sunglasses, the company makes a donation to someone in need. read more about their charity here.

besides the becky style, i’ve rounded up a few more cute frames!

i get a small commission for purchases or clicks made through links in this post. thank you for supporting the brands that keep this blog up and running.
