while most of us get bundled this time of year, the holidays are also a great time to take a vacation to a tropical locale. when i was a sophomore in college, my parents took my cousin and me to hawaii for christmas. i know we live in san diego where beach weather is available nearly all year round, but it still felt different to be on waikiki beach in a santa hat on christmas morning. sometimes it’s fun to mix-it-up!
