our easter celebrations took us a little further inland than usual (to S’s aunt’s house), which meant warmer temperatures for our afternoon gathering. i took full advantage of that by busting out this embroidered off-the-shoulder top from last summer (similar here). it pairs perfectly with my white denim shorts, or in this case, i tucked it into my wide leg cropped jeans.

i’m not usually one to show a lot of skin, but there are certain parts of my body that i feel comfortable showing off, especially when the temperatures rise. one part is my clavicle/shoulder area and the other is my back. off-the-shoulder tops are the perfect for showing off sculpted shoulders (thanks studio barre) and for creating a nice long lean neckline to elongate your top-half. snag one for spring and wear it well into summer, too!
