something amazing happened this past weekend, guys. the temperatures dipped below 70-degrees and it was finally appropriate to unearth my boots and sweaters from their nine month hibernation and sport them together before another heat wave arrived.

when i think about what i call “fantasy fall” (because “real life fall” in san diego looks a lot like an extended summer), this is the outfit i imagine. a cozy sweater and skinny jeans tucked into my favorite leather boots. nothing fancy but comfortable, festive, and flattering all at the same time.
