if there’s something i love more than a good styling session, it’s a styling session that involves an affordable buy. in this case, this cute pom sweater from target’s who what wear collection is a steal considering the fact that it resembles versions double (or triple!) its price tag. of course i really have to give credit where credit is due –my girl natalie was the first one to spot it and upon seeing how cute it was on her, both my mom and i snagged it online.
given my love for olive (and pom poms), it’s the perfect light-weight piece for our san diego “winters” as well as a transitional piece come spring (when the weather hasn’t quite warmed up enough for short-sleeves). it also comes in white if green isn’t your thing, but i personally love the rich hue and how well it works with so many items in my current wardrobe. as far as sizing goes, it fits TTS -i’m in the small and at a hair under 5′ 7″, it’s long enough in both the torso and arms (which can sometimes be an issue with how popular cropped styles are these days). and because i know i’ll be asked -it’s not itchy at all! if you’ve watched my instagram styling stories, you know that i love to layer a t-shirt under all of my sweaters to prolong the life of the knit (and the need to wash them as frequently) but regardless, i found the sweater’s fabric not to be an issue on my sensitive skin.
sam edelman ‘hazel’ pumps (run narrow -i opted for the 9.5W)
natalie borton hoops (c/o)
j.crew point sur fuzzy cardigan (runs big -xs)
natalie borton earrings (c/o)
