anyone who knows me knows that i’ve been on the wide-leg silhouette train for quite some time now. so much so that as soon as i tried everlane’s version a few years ago, i almost immediately ordered them in four additional colors. now a styling session featuring these babies is nothing new for shawna leeann (the website, not the person) (see previous styling sessions here & here), but i had another request from some new instagram friends to style them specifically for the fall season. so your wish is my command! i myself am very ready for fall fashion so putting together these six looks was a lot of fun for yours truly.
you’ll see below that i split the half dozen looks between two pairs of everlane’s crops –their ochre color (a deep khaki) and bone shade (an ivory). i prefer to stay with my normal size (2), but some like to size down as they do stretch out slightly with wear.
lastly, if you’re interested in the difference between the everlane pair vs. madewell’s similar emmett pants, i did a comparison between the two styles last year –you can read it here.
everlane wide leg crop pants in ochre (TTS) || anine bing ‘bing ink’ tee (TTS) || chicwish cuteness on sleeves chunky cardigan (s/m) || universal thread woven mules (sized up 1/2 size) || jenni kayne hat (similar) || madewell simple pouch belt bag (xs)
everlane wide leg crop pants in bone (c/o) (TTS) || loft striped tee (similar here & here) || everlane boss boots (sized up 1/2 size) || madewell oversized denim jacket (small) || clare v leopard clutch
i’m wearing natalie borton julia earrings (teardrop) in all six looks. good news! they’ll be restocked in the shop on thursday, september 5th so be sure to save the date. additionally, if you prefer to shop these outfits on the liketoknow.it app, they’re currently linked (similar items are provided if the exact piece has since sold out). finally, you’ll want to check out my IGTV to see a fun speedy video of all six looks in action! as always, feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions.
