my everlane wishlist for fall

with the launch of everlane’s pop-up shop in los angeles this week, everlane has been all over my instagram timeline. coincidentally enough, yesterday i also posted a styling session featuring two of my four pairs of the sustainable brand’s popular wide-leg crop pant. both instances inspired me to take a perusal of the website with fresh eyes -especially in anticipation of fall’s arrival. below are the four items currently idling in my everlane online cart with ideas of how i’d showcase them with my personal style:

link-switch crewneck sweater || after recently seeing this sweater on natalie, i immediately added it to my wishlist. despite the fact that san diego weather remains fairly temperate -even through the fall/winter, i am a firm believer that one can never own too many sweaters -especially ones made with quality fabric and in classic colors. though i own three everlane cashmere sweaters, i have yet to experience one of their cotton pullover styles. priced at $75 and sustainably made, i believe this crew would be a perfect fall addition to any wardrobe. while i’m always a sucker for a marigold-hued piece, i think i’d opt for the ivory shade for its versatility. easiest summer to fall transitional outfit? this sweater, my favorite pair of denim shorts, and one of my many pairs of mules.

washable silk wrap top || now that i don’t get dressed up for work 5 days a week, i’ve really pared down my ‘professional’ blouse collection, but it is always nice to have a couple upscale pieces to pair with denim and heels for a dressed up date night look. as we continue our journey to start our family, investing in a silk top seems slightly silly at this juncture. however, i’m very intrigued by everlane’s new washable silk fabric. wrap tops can be tricky for me (my lack of chest always makes them lay funny on my body) but i love the feminine vibes of this one as well as the gorgeous cider shade (a rich rust color) for fall. i’d pair it with high-rise denim and animal print flats.

clean silk short-sleeve square shirt || with the above said, i also have my eye on a regular silk shirt (laugh crying emoji). normally i don’t gravitate toward boxy silhouettes, but i love the sophistication of this specific design. i can see it paired with distressed denim and layered under overalls. i’m obsessed with this gorgeous peridot color but think maybe the black and white striped version would be more my speed…

boss flat || after i sold back my slightly-too-small pair of black leather mules, i immediately started looking for a replacement pair. while i know there’ll be more options as we move into the heart of the fall season, i’m now rethinking if i want a mule style at all or if i’d rather have a loafer-style shoe instead. because as soon as i spotted these luxe leather beauties, i imagined how chic they’d look with a skinny jean and a simple neutral-colored sweater.

tell me, what items are you loving from everlane these days?
