this week’s date night was a cause for celebration –not only for the fact that we received SO MUCH good news about our fertility journey, but equally as important -it was my step dad’s birthday weekend! so we celebrated all the things with dinner at a local steakhouse.

while i’m very ready for fall, the weather is still behaving like summer so i decided to find a compromise with light-weight fabrics but in a moody monochromatic color palette. to offset all of the black, i added pops of leopard in my calf-hair booties and trusty clutch. a bright lip completed the look -simple, chic, and celebration ready.
