5 ways to style an oversized sweater

0 Permalink 3

while we’ve STILL yet to experience true sweater weather in these parts (maybe next month?), that hasn’t stopped me from adding a few cozy knits to my online cart. similar to shoes, i believe one can never own too many sweaters. if cared for properly, they’re the kind of garment that’ll last you year after year.

as i was returning a couple things to our local outdoor mall last week, i stumbled into urban outfitters and came across this dreamy oversized sweater that was –conveniently enough -on sale for 30% off its already reduced price. i essentially snagged it for half its original price tag and if you know me, you know i LOVE a bargain. my ideal winter outfit will be pairing this sweater with a pair of faux leather leggings and booties, but to showcase just how much wear you can get out of a piece like this, i styled five different looks from which to draw inspiration as you unearth your knit collection from the depths of your closet.

a speedy style video will be up on my IGTV later this afternoon but you can shop the looks below or in the liketoknow.it app. tell me, which outfit do you like best?
