something blue

it’s wild to think that some of the maternity pieces i ordered when i was first expecting (and barely showing) are finally starting to fit. after seeing this dress on kathleen barnes last fall, i ordered it for myself with the intention of sporting it once my bump was big enough to showcase. at nearly 6 months pregnant (HOW?!), i feel like these babies are really making their presence known these days. if you’re looking for a chic, comfortable, and affordable frock to wear during pregnancy and in the first weeks postpartum, i highly recommend this baby blue dress. i wore it to a brunch date with some of my best girls and felt pulled together and cozy all at the same time.

speaking of cozy, let’s talk about my new pair of everlane shoes for 2.5. the kind team at the sustainable brand recently sent me a pair of their day loafers in cashew (a light beige) to try out and i am in love. i did end up sizing up a full shoe size (they run a tad small and my pregnancy feet also might have something to do with this), but i also know the leather will continue to stretch and form to my foot over time. the style is similar to my birdies, but the top seam gives them more of a true ‘loafer’ feel. they come in a variety of colors and have an elasticized back to ensure they’re comfort lasts all day long.
