5 loft tops styled 5 ways

2 Permalink 0

after sharing all of these pieces in a blog post (and placing them in my online cart in anticipation of a sale…), i finally hit ‘purchase’ (and saved myself 40% off!). they recently arrived and spoiler alert: i love every single thing. after cleaning up my closet and re-discovering my style postpartum, i am shocked that my wardrobe is comprised of a majority of loft pieces. they just continue to KILL it in my opinion and i’m all too happy to snag their designs at a fraction of the cost when they have a sale (which i swear is every other day –pro tip: sign up for their emails and you’ll never miss those discounts!).

anyway, i tried on everything during the twins’ nap time today and even made a little IGTV styling video (it’ll be live on my feed at 12:00 p.m. PDT). these pieces are so good they’ll be perfect for wearing through these last weeks of summer and will transition effortlessly into fall as well.

puff sleeve mixed media tee || i ordered this top in all three colors and every single one is *chef’s kiss.* the bodice is a ribbed knit material with lots of comfort stretch while the sleeves are a stiffer cotton to maintain the puffed silhouette. the buttons are functional making it a great option for nursing mamas and hallelujah -it’s machine washable (essential in our household), too! while the black and white are classic, i think the olive green is my favorite. the rich jewel tone will be beautiful paired with vintage denim and my camel-colored boots come october.

puff sleeve mixed media tee (small) || madewell ‘momjean’ denim shorts (sized down one size) || old navy faux-leather lace-up sandals (similar here & here) || cuyana summer hat

puff sleeve mixed media tee (small) || banana republic leopard midi skirt (similar) || converse breathable chuck 70 sneakers (sized down 1/2 size)

cinched puff sleeve top || okay i’m so bummed guys. it appears this top has already sold out (insert crying emoji). there’s a chance loft will bring it back? (fingers crossed) but if not, this style is very similar. this is the kind of top that can be dressed up or down and worn a zillion different ways. in my current season of life (wrangling 15-month-old twins), i find it to be best paired with denim, but i could easily make it date night appropriate by swapping the jeans for the leopard skirt shown above.

lacy puff sleeve mixed media top || in keeping with my promise of continuing to fill my closet with romantic white tops, i added this one to the collection. while it is a tiny bit sheer, you can still get away with a nude bra underneath. to me, it’s the perfect under-overalls top (as shown below), but the lacy detail also begs for it to be matched up with a flowy skirt.

i get a small commission for purchases or clicks made through links in this post. thank you for supporting the brands that keep this blog up and running.

Aww, thanks so much, Meghan! I’m telling you, Loft is my best kept (not-so) secret right now! I literally have three more tops in my online cart ready to go once they go on sale! Thank you for being here. xoxo
