if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again! after striking out twice with everlane’s denim line, i am happy to report that i finally landed upon a pair of their high-waisted skinny jeans that i love!

turns out the winning pair was black –not blue as originally thought. after trying on the dark wash and mid-blue in both a 25 and 26 and in ankle and regular lengths, i finally settled on a 26 ankle-length in the classic black wash. while the website reviews are mixed as to whether or not to size up, down, or keep your usual denim size, after trying one size down (25) and my normal denim size (26), i’d recommend staying in your normal size. though they soften with wear (they way good jeans mold to your body), they have not seemed to stretch-out like other non-spandex composed styles tend to do. i can’t wait to style them throughout the winter season!
