needtobreathe just released their latest album, “rivers in the wasteland” and it is, as expected, fabulous. in fact, i have been playing it on repeat all afternoon. but of the eleven tracks, perhaps my favorite, at least lyrically speaking, is their final song entitled “more heart, less attack.” the first verse alone could very well be my new life mantra:

Be the light in the crack
Be the one that’s been there on a camel’s back
Slow to anger quick to laugh
Be more heart and less attack
