when the temperatures rise, the last thing you want to do (especially if your house isn’t equipped with air) is worry about your outfit. come summertime, i want easy pieces that i can throw on without thinking too much about it. for me, those pieces look like breezy rompers and light-weight skirts with lots of feminine details.
when i first spotted this ruffled wrap skirt online, i was immediately smitten with its pattern and shape. a lover of all things striped, i knew it would be the perfect addition to my spring/summer wardrobe -easily paired with chambray, crisp whites, and even grey. though it is a lot of material, the added volume adds to the fun and flirty vibe -making it a showpiece in any wardrobe. plus, did i mention it has pockets?!

one of my favorite ways to style a statement skirt (such as this one) is with a simple basic -either a t-shirt or tank. it’s a no-brainer formula that helps me feel put together without feeling fussy. with the skirt as the main event, i tend to keep the rest of my accessories to a minimum -simple leather sandals, my favorite straw hat, and a delicate gold necklace are all i need. oh and an iced coffee because with temperatures in the 80’s (like they were this day), it’s the perfect refreshment.

Cute, cute, cute from top to bottom. The straw hat looks great on you (and it really sets off your face and hair). The necklace is a favorite of mine. You paired the top and skirt perfectly… I love the relaxed look of crisp white. The bling on your shoes gives a bit of girly sass. The bag is such a lovely neutral tone. You have this!!!!
