with the first day of spring next week (march 20th!), i am giddy with excitement for all that’s to come this season. easter, memorial day, and eventually S and my birthdays, and thereafter SUMMER! i kind of feel like i have senioritis except instead of wanting to graduate, it’s winteritis and i just want to wear short sleeves again.

i mentioned briefly that S and my next trip is to the central coast to celebrate our birthdays in june. while it may be three months away, i have certainly wasted no time in starting to plan my vacation outfits (because of course i have). and one item i’ve been on the hunt for to compliment said outfits is a good summer bag. last year, this bag broke the internet but a) it was a bit out of my price range and b) didn’t quite seem practical for my lifestyle (don’t things fall through it?). nevertheless, i loved the idea of a straw or wood bag. thankfully zara delivered this season in a big big way. the one i’m carrying above is handmade and under $50! it’s the perfect size to hold my hobo wallet, phone, and my new lip tint. i can’t wait to pair it with all of my favorite vacation looks. if you’re looking for a new purse for the spring and summer seasons, i’ve rounded up a few more options all under $100:
