with summer’s big holiday just hours away, it’s time to solidify your patriotic outfit for the 4th’s festivities. personally, since i have to work for part of the day, i tend to stick to something breezy and comfortable like a maxi dress, cowboy boots (i stand in the grass most of the time), and of course a giant straw hat (see last year’s outfit above). but if i didn’t have adult responsibilities, i’d probably wear a pair of white denim shorts, this top, and sandals and spend the afternoon sipping an iced beverage in our backyard.
