after a long week, it felt good to get dressed up for a double date night with dear friends and their adorable toddler. for a casual dinner at our local pizza joint (they even had gluten free!), i opted for an old standby –this polka dot swing dress i snagged from old navy years ago. its jersey material makes it crazy comfortable as does its a-line shape, making it easy to move and twirl in (and house a lot of pizza). since it’s finally starting to feel a little chilly around these parts, i paired the ensemble with my favorite pair of cowboy boots and some natalie borton statement earrings.
you’ll notice my hair is straight in these photos -a fun change from my mermaid waves. i had just gotten my roots touched up so i was treated to a professional blowout and it was heavenly. sometimes it’s fun to change it up!
