when it came to booking a little getaway in honor of our last few months as a family of two, there was no questions where we’d be heading -our favorite place in the world, la quinta resort!
as you know, we were just there over the thanksgiving holiday and had a wonderful time (we shot our pregnancy reveal photos, too!). i was looking forward to going back when the weather was a bit warmer and thankfully the temperature gods complied because we got a healthy dose of sunshine. oh and while i’m not usually one to ask for favors, i did manage to milk the ‘pregnant with twins’ card and got us a gorgeous room upgrade with a fireplace and bathtub! the resort staff went above and beyond, even sending over a salty & sweet dessert plate with a handwritten note wishing us a wonderful babymoon. it definitely set the tone for what turned out to be a perfect mid-week vacation.
normally i let you inside of my suitcase before we head out of town, but i wanted to switch things up this time and showcase my outfits after the fact. for one -the backdrops for my outfits are so much more picturesque than the interior of our bedroom and two -i honestly didn’t have the time to film a style video before we left.
