now that both my bridal shower and bachelorette weekend have already come and gone, things are really starting to feel real. i mean next week will mark TWO months from the big day and i truly can’t believe how quickly the time has flown. the next sixty days will be filled with finalizing details and follow-up appointments -everything from picking out the wines that we’ll serve at dinner to putting together our reception playlist. and nestled amongst those meetings will be my wedding hair trial coming up over thanksgiving weekend.
though i have sported many “carried bradshaw buns” recently, for the most part, i tend to wear my hair down and curly. so when i started dreaming of how i wanted to wear my locks for the most important day of my life, i knew i wanted to honor my signature look. as i mentioned in my wedding makeup post, my biggest concern is not looking like myself on my wedding day, so while it would be fun to sport a romantic chignon or even half-up/half-down bohemian style, i knew ultimately i wouldn’t feel like me. so i took to pinterest to find a few examples i’ll bring to tovi, my hairstylist/colorist who will be making my locks wedding-worthy in january. i will be wearing a veil to walk down the aisle (and it matches my dress perfectly!) but will swap it out for an alternative headpiece for the reception. below are a few photos we’ll use for inspiration as we create my perfect wedding hairstyle:
