working on taking the time to “just be still” these days. even if it’s just for a moment. because as that wise sage ferris bueller once said, “life moves pretty fast. if you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” and the older i get, and the quicker these calendar pages fly by, the more i realize how right he was.

i’m going to blink and it’s going to be christmas. and while i love the holidays and the cheer and merriment and opportunities to wear sparkly things that come with them, i also want to make sure that i’m not letting time simply pass me by in hopes that the next big thing will arrive at a quicker pace. because the world is spinning just a little too fast these days, so just for a moment, i want to be still.
