’twas the day before christmas and all through the house
not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse

merry christmas eve, loves! tonight S and i are having our christmas celebrations with my parents since we’ll be with his family tomorrow morning. ever since i can remember, my family has always gone out to eat for christmas eve and this year is no different. we’re actually headed back to last year’s choice, jake’s del mar, because we had such a delicious experience in 2013. and while i’m currently eyeing their fresh fish of the day entree, i’ll be honest, i’m more concerned with ending the meal with a big slice of their signature hula pie.

after dinner, we’ll head back to my parents’ house to exchange gifts and probably take a few (dozen) photos in front of the tree.

i can’t wait!
