merry christmas eve! still not quite sure what to wear to tonight’s candlelight service/family dinner? not to worry! i’ve rounded up a few of my favorite holiday combinations from the past few weeks to provide you with some last-minute outfit-inspiration.
sequins & denim
no sequins? no problem! your favorite pair of denim would look just as holiday chic when paired with lace (love this madewell top –on sale!) or velvet (how sassy is this deep v from free people?).
pop of red
whether it’s a dress, a coat, or a silk blouse, adding red to any outfit can instantly make it holiday-appropriate. finish with a complimentary bold lip because it’s okay to be matchy matchy on christmas.
tulle skirt
let’s be honest, is there ever an occasion when tulle isn’t the go-to choice? didn’t think so. if you haven’t yet scored yourself an adult tutu, i highly suggest you make 2015 the year you do. not only is it the perfect skirt to don on christmas eve, my friend conni came up with eight (8!) additional ways to sport it every other day of the year. tulle, the gift that keeps on giving.
