as soon as S put the basket he gave me for christmas on my bike, i’ve been dying for a reason to get out and use it. sunday morning before the big game seemed like the perfect opportunity to get a little cardio in before an afternoon of slothing and snacking. it may still technically be winter for a few more weeks, but yesterday’s warm temperatures were enough to convince me spring is well on its way.

i threw a few blooms into my basket to make it feel festive and S and i headed down into the little neighborhood square to snap a few photos. this dress is always a summer staple but i “winterized” it by throwing on my favorite chambray. i love any excuse to combine red, white, and blue. though memorial day may be months away, let’s be honest, super bowl sunday is about as american as you can get.
