there are few things more classic than a simple white t-shirt. it’s timeless, goes with everything, and the perfect canvas for the occasional piece of statement jewelry. much like stripes, i believe one can never own too many well-fitting tees. after being on the hunt to find a perfect white one for years, i finally found it at my favorite store, madewell (of course). madewell’s slub v-neck tees have found the happy medium of being just slightly oversized but still extremely flattering. i love them so much that in addition to buying one in white, i picked one in dark grey and black as well.

for this outfit, i kept it simple with a pair of denim shorts and my favorite cardigan. we stumbled upon this gorgeous blue wall when wandering around a neighborhood by the coast. it proved to be the perfect backdrop.
