my apologies for the tardiness of this post. last weekend/this week has been non-stop! with that said, these are some of my favorite photos we’ve ever taken, but come on, how can you beat that view of the san diego skyline?!

one of the most rewarding things about being in a relationship is the opportunity to expand your holiday celebrations. since both S and my families live within driving distance to us, we try our best to spend at least a portion of every holiday with both sides. this past easter weekend was no different. on saturday evening (“easter eve”) we donned our easter best for a fancier evening downtown near the san diego harbor with my parents (we celebrated with his family on actual easter day). even on our own weekly date nights, S and i rarely are out of jeans, so it was fun to put our fancy pants (err, skirt) for a few hours. here’s what i wore to drinks at coasterra and dinner at island prime:
