i realize “fall” is relative in san diego but there has definitely been a shift in temperatures lately and you best believe i’ve taken advantage of it. i’ve unearthed a few of my favorite fall staples (aka my beloved sweaters) and paired them with some of my summer standbys. i know from experience not to get too excited about chillier temperatures since they don’t tend to stay for too long, but good golly it felt good to wear sleeves. anyway, if you’re curious as to how i’ve been handling this “not summer but not yet fall” phase of life (you’ve been waiting with bated breath, right?), here’s the latest round-up of #shawnaleeannstyle.

quick aside: i’ve mentioned this before in previous posts, but the necklaces i’m wearing in a few of these outfits are handmade by my talented friend and blogger, natalie borton. if you haven’t taken a peek at her online shop, i highly suggest you do. she makes a limited number of each style so when they’re gone, they’re gone! that means it’s kind of like home goods, if you see something you like, you have to act fast. but with the frequency in which i wear all of her pieces, a purchase of one of her unique pieces is money truly well spent.
