oh these pants (insert all the heart-eye emojis). if you haven’t jumped on the wide-leg pant bandwagon yet, this pair just might be the thing to convince you to hitch a ride. as soon as i spotted them in j.crew’s spring collection, i knew i had to make them mine. stripes and navy always seem to make their way into every spring collection so i had a sinking feeling they’d sell out fast (how’s that for yacht humor?).
truthfully, the website doesn’t do them justice, they are even better in person. the fabric is almost a pique, which makes them nearly impossible to wrinkle and perfect for traveling! to showcase their versatility (and convince you that you need them in your closet ASAP), i’ve decided to style these striped sailor pants three ways and will feature them throughout the next two weeks. today’s outfit is conservative with a bit of whimsy, perfect for the office. i kept the color palette simple -complimenting the white stripe with a playful ruffled blouse and accenting with nude accessories.
when it comes to looking professional, sometimes less is more. a tailored pair of pants, a crisp white blouse, and nude pointy-toed pumps are the perfect pieces to refresh your work wardrobe this spring.
stay tuned for look number two coming to the blog next week!

Wow… you’ve got this!!! Even though the strips are horizontal, those pants make your legs go on forever. I love that blouse and the neutral accessories are perfect… nothing fights for attention. You really paired everything nicely. And that location… it allows the simplicity and clean design of the outfit to show without taking anything away. Such a lovely outfit for a lovely lady. They are hands-down some of my most flattering pants I’ve ever worn. I am obsessed and I have TWO more looks to share with you next week! Thank you for the lovely sentiments, as always! xoxo
