because stripes are a staple for every wardrobe, j.crew is celebrating them with their own made-up holiday –national stripes day on friday, march 31st. in honor of the preppy print, all are encouraged to dress accordingly and post their striped ensembles on social media outlets using the proper hashtag #nationalstripesday. if you’re like me, chances are you already have plenty of options to choose from when you go to make your outfit for next week’s holiday, but just in case you don’t, j.crew recently released another round of striped goodies in their latest spring collection. i’ve rounded up my favorite pieces -a few of which i will probably be making mine in the not-so-distant future. because let’s be honest, no one ever said, “nah, i think i have enough stripes in my closet.” at least not this girl.
