the title of this post is a little comical given how casual my husband and my date nights tend to be, but recently i had a different kind of special occasion to dress up for —a baby sprinkle for my friend and her baby girl. normally, i would have paired this lace top with a pair of black trousers and heels, but since the invitation mentioned we’d be outdoors, i thought i’d dress it down a bit and opted to pair it with jeans and flats instead.
