i don’t know about you but the second and i mean second i get home from work/workout/even date night, i’m upstairs washing my face and reaching for my comfiest clothes. don’t get me wrong, i love getting done up and slipping on a cute outfit, but if i had my choice between going out and staying in, i would always always choose the latter.
while i’d like to think i’m the kind of gal who wears matching pajama sets and/or a robe with my monogram etched on the lapel, the reality is, i’m just not. instead, i prefer cotton tanks and frilled pajama shorts, the occasional romper, and of course, a perfectly oversized sweatshirt. while it’s hard to fathom putting on a sweatshirt this time of year, there are occasions in the early mornings and late evenings when the temperatures cool off (or if you’re living that a/c life) when a comfy pullover is warranted.
on any given evening if you were to pop up at our home, chances are you’d find me in some sort of intimation of this outfit -a cozy sweatshirt (or scoop neck tank), cotton shorts, and a bandana to keep this locks off a freshly scrubbed mug. i call it my “home uniform” and once it’s on, i feel like i can really relax. and by “relax” i mean turn on bravo and eat my almond butter in peace.
